David Gilmour: neue Interview-Clips über das Touring l VÖ: 29.09.2017

David Gilmour präsentiert weitere Auszüge aus den Dokumentationen, die der „Live At Pompeii“-DVD-Blu-ray-Veröffentlichung beigefügt sind. Dabei gibt er weitere Einblicke in die Shows seiner „Rattle That Lock“-Tour. Veröffentlicht wird das ganze Werk am 29.09.2017 und wird auf folgenden Formaten erhältlich sein: Doppel-CD, Einfach-Blu-ray, Doppel-DVD, Blu-ray + CD Deluxe Edition Boxset (2 CDs und 2 Blu-rays), Vierfach-Vinyl und Download. 

„I’m kind of into perfection in a way, but at the same time I don’t consider that playing the songs perfectly as on the record is my idea of perfection,“ sagt Gilmour in einem Clip. „I want it to be live music. I want the people who play with me to have some autonomy. I would rather we go for something and enjoy actually playing and making music.“
Wenn es um das Setup des Showdesigns geht, fügt er hinzu „you want the whole thing to start and finish and have a kind of a narrative. We’re not imposing a narrative on it that has specific meaning, but you’re having a narrative of moods that run you from the start to the finish.“
